She had to know the paternity of her beautiful twin babies, a girl and a boy who were conveniently off screen with their nanny at the moment. The guilt was such a hardship. That, and she had to know who to demand child support from.

Now the results were in. She'd agonized for hours as the envelope sat on her dresser, taunting her. Finally, her hand shaking delicately, she tore it open.
