Grover Cleveland B2, Monday Evening
May. 11th, 2009 04:08 pmEllie was sitting in her alcove, thinking about the things she learned in class today. Like how her brother will possibly date her teacher in the future. It had taken every ounce of self-restraint not to ask Sarah if there was anyone special in her life. Was Ellie married or engaged to someone? Was she a doctor in the future? But she didn't ask.
After thinking about all that she reached for her cellphone and called home. It had been a few days so it was time to check on her little brother.
"Hey Chuck," she said into the phone. She went on to tell him that the school was nice, that she was making friends already, and that everything was a normal as could be. Hey, that last part could count as her Spy Games assignment. Telling a lie and seeing how it felt. She decided it didn't feel very good to lie to her brother. If she told the truth, though, he'd think she was crazy. That would be worse than the lie.
[mostly establishy, but can be open]
