Room 508, Monday Afternoon

Ellie had gotten a message from Sarah last night that she was leaving town. While she hadn't known Sarah that well, she was sort of a connection to home. She only hoped, as she listened to the message, that Sarah went back to California to find Chuck and take care of him. Maybe settle down with him. But that was only the hopes of a concerned big sister wanting the best for her brother.

The message, at least, made her feel better about the future. She would make sure to do as instructed. With that in mind, she decided it was another good time to call home.

"Hi Eleanor," Ellie replied, putting her cellphone down. "I did go. I had a good time."

"Oh, I didn't realize you were on the telephone. I hope I didn't interuppt anything."

"You're not interrupting anything," Ellie assured. "I'm already called home. Just got off the phone right before you got back."

"Everything going well there? Not that I'm being nosey," she added quickly, "just hoping all is good."

"I was just calling to check on my brother. Everything's good," Ellie nodded. Her dad was even home. So all was well for the time being.

"That's good to hear," she replied, going to make some tea. "So... did you happen to dance with anyone?" she asked with a wry smirk.

Now she was being nosey. Just a little.

"No, I went to the dance by myself," Ellie replied. "Maybe next time. How about you?"

"I did too, but I ended up dancing with Jack. And Leda." She was also blushing a bit.

"Oh, sounds like you had a good time then," Ellie grinned.

"It was nice. I hadn't had a chance to dance in a while."

"Then I'm glad you got to dance with people," Ellie said. "It's good to have fun."

"Yes," she agreed with a nod. "Speaking of which, are you looking forward to going back to the cabins?"

"Yeah, I guess so," Ellie said. "They were interesting last time."

"It was a different experience. I rather enjoyed it."
