OOC: Ellie Versus the Info Post
Apr. 30th, 2009 10:14 amMeet Eleanor "Ellie" Bartowski. Someday, her younger brother Chuck will download a computer into his brain. But right now, he's just a socially awkward, geeky boy. So basically, he's the same but without the CIA and NSA secrets in his head.
Quick Facts
- Ellie is from the sci-fi/action/dramedy Chuck.
- She is 16.
- She's a normal girl with no powers or weapons training.
- She likes to cook.
- She wants to be a doctor.
- She grew up in Encino, California.
- She is incredibly over protective of Chuck as he is pretty much the only family she can rely on.
Canon Vs. Fandom Canon
Ellie is pre-canon (circa 1996), so almost everything on the show has yet to occur, including the aforementioned computer downloading into the title character's brain. This means she will not know the Sarah Walker in game, and she will not be engaged to a hot guy referred to as "Captain Awesome." Maybe someday! She also has yet to become a doctor, though she has aspirations at this point.
Family Life
Her mother left when Chuck was in fifth grade. She and Chuck celebrate their own version of Mother's Day on the anniversary of the day she walked out. This is their way of acknowledging that they can really only count on each other. Their father left them later in life, but he is still sort of around at this point. But he is majorly flaky and can be gone for hours at a time or even days at a time. I am taking some creative license for game purposes as it was never exactly specified when the flakiness started. I could be jossed, but if it means getting another season, bring it on I say!
She is, as mentioned before, protective of Chuck. Sometimes she comes off as a nag, but she has his best interests in mind. She pretty much makes sure he is taken care of since their parents could not be counted on. Basically, she considers him her only family.
To sum up? The girl has major parental issues.
Other Stuff
She is very kind and compassionate and can get along with anyone. And she'll try to get along with anyone, even people who are not especially friendly (hi, Katchoo!) She is usually pretty calm and collected, but certain situations cause her great anxiety. Such as anything detail oriented (like wedding planning in canon). Though she has been known to be pretty zen about a lot of things. Stay tuned to see how she might react during a Fandom invasion. Or any of the wackiness, really.
She's just an average teenage girl. Magic, superpowers, zombies, alternate universes, etc. are all things she knows about from her brother's movie, comics, and video game collections. Breaking her brain is going to be fun. *evil laugh*
You can read about my other two characters (Summer Roberts & Piper Halliwell), who also happen to be brunettes with parental issues from California, right here. But I don't have a type. Nope.
I'm Cassie. My hobbies include photoshop, collecting music from tv shows, and being a fandom geek. You can find me on AIM as Landslide418 (can you tell I'm a Fleetwood Mac fan?) pretty much anytime EST (usually after noon), unless I am asleep. I'm pretty friendly and approachable and I'm willing to play with anyone. I'm just a little bit of a slacker at times, so bear with me. ;)
